As I expected, I was able to replace my older 3 USB / 2 Firewire card from the same vendor with this newer 5 port (4 on the bulkhead, one internal) USB interface PCI card. Since I really wanted to have more than four external access USB ports, I put in two of the cards in my HP Pavilion system.Windows will recognize the problem, they are working properly. I am quite pleased with the results..
