I have considered this purchase over the last year and after just using it for two weeks I wish I had bought it last year.It does make auto-focusing a little trickier, and you lose infinity, it is well worth the extra "trouble" in figuring it out.I bought it mainly for macro, but last weekend I spent hours in my backyard with the help of the Canon EF 100-400L to capture a hummingbird photos. They turned out awesome!.
